Q1: can I see realy in the dark or I must have a litle light of the moon?
A: With its built-in Infrared Illuminator, yes, the Night Watch 2x24 w/Built-In IR will let you see in complete darkness.
Q2: Will an IR monocular allow me to see heat loss from the outside of my home?
A: The Bushnell Night Watch 2x24 Night Vision Monocular is a night-vision device only. It has a built-IR unit for illumination purposes, but not for heat sensing. To see heat radiation from your home, you'll need a thermal imaging device like the ATN Thermal Eye 250D 75mm.
