Q1: What is the minimum and maximum on photo zoom? What can I expect to see (say from a license plate) shot from a block away at maximum?
A: This is a standard 10x binocular. There is no minimum or maximum zoom as it is a fixed power. The easiest way to explain what you will see is that whatever you are looking at will appear 10 times closer.
Q2: What comes in the box with this binocular?
A: It comes with a canvas case equipped with belt loop and shoulder strap.
Q3: Are these auto focus?
A: No, they are not an auto focus binocular. They have a center wheel that is used to fine tune the focus.
Q4: What material are these binoculars made out of? Could something be engraved on them?
A: Zhumell 10x25 compact binoculars are made of aluminum alloy. They certainly can be engraved.
Q5: How far can images or objects be viewed from the binoculars?
A: Zhumell 10x25 Folding Compact binoculars will focus on objects as close as 12 feet, or a bit less than 3 meters away. Like all binoculars, Zhumell 10x25 FCs will allow you to see all the way to the horizon, however far that is in your area. In addition, their 10-power magnification will make distant objects appear as if they were only 1/10th as far away as they actually are. Hence a person 1 kilometer away will appear to be only 100 meters away. That is probably close enough to recognize the person.
